Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

Plain-English summary: You give us your website, email, and a few business details. We run an AI visibility check and send you the results. If you opt in, we send a short follow-up series. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and you can delete everything by emailing us.

1. Who we are

Named In AI ("we," "our," "us") is an AI visibility grading service for tour and activity operators, operated at namedinai.com. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to privacy@namedinai.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is needed to run your audit and communicate with you.

Information you provide:

  • Business website URL
  • Business name (optional)
  • City or region
  • Tour category
  • Signature experiences (optional)
  • Known competitors (optional)
  • Email address (required to deliver your report)
  • Whether you opted in to marketing emails (a checkbox on the form)

Information we generate:

  • Your AI visibility score and confidence range
  • Competitor leaderboard data
  • Top recommended fixes
  • Timestamp of the scan

Technical data:

  • Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referrer). Retained for 30 days then deleted automatically.
  • No analytics tracking scripts. No advertising pixels. No third-party tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

We use your data for three things only:

  • Delivering your report — we email you your AI visibility score, top fixes, and a link to your report page. Legal basis: legitimate interest (you requested the report; we are delivering it).
  • Marketing follow-up — if you ticked the "Send me improvement tips" checkbox, we send a short email series over roughly one week. Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking Unsubscribe in any email.
  • Fulfilling a paid audit — if you purchase the $149 Full Audit, your email and scan data are used to run a deeper analysis and deliver your full report. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

4. Third-party processors

We use the following sub-processors to operate the service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. Where data leaves the EEA, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Scan results and report data: Retained until you request deletion.
  • Email and lead records: Retained for 12 months after your last interaction, then deleted. If you unsubscribe, your email is removed from marketing lists immediately; your report data is retained unless you also request deletion.
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements.
  • Server logs: 30 days, then automatically purged.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you have the following rights over your personal data. To exercise any of them, email privacy@namedinai.com. We respond within 30 days.

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Ask us to delete your data. We will comply unless we are required to retain it by law (e.g. payment records).
  • Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection / restriction: Object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information).

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the EU, find your authority at edpb.europa.eu.

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary for the site to work — specifically, cookies set by Next.js for routing and session state. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics tracking cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts. No cookie consent banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.

8. Children's privacy

Named In AI is a business tool intended for adults running tour and activity businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. If you have an active subscription, we will also notify you by email.
